Public Transportation

Transportation Services around town:

  • Hiawathaland Public Transit : Convenient bus service available to everyone who lives in, or is visiting the City of Cannon Falls, or Cannon Falls, Leon, Stanton Townships, and a limited area of Randolph Township. Use this service for:  medical and dental appointments; shopping, banking and other business; Swimming lessons, social activities, day care centers or preschool; after school activities; senior dining; etc.

HOURS OF SERVICE:  Monday - Friday 7:30  a.m. - 5:30 p.m. There is no service on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. The service provides Dial-A-Ride (Curb-to-Curb) service. Cost is $1.50 per trip

Transportation Services to Rochester and the Twin Cities:

  • Rochester City Lines Commuter Services are available for both southbound (Cannon Falls to Rochester) and northbound** (Cannon Falls to St. Paul via Eagan Transit Station and Minneapolis via the Hiawatha Line light rail station at 289th Avenue)  For information on rates, schedules and times contact the Rochester City Lines at 507-288-4353 or visit their website at:  www.rochestercitylines.com

**Please note:  northbound bus service from Cannon Falls to St.Paul and Minneapolis is by reservation only.
