100th Annual Cannon Valley Fair!
 

This is a true "hometown"  fair and Fourth of July Celebration with the traditional

 fireworks. Additional events include a midway, grandstand demolition derbies, harness

races, 4-H and Open Class competition and all of the things you would associate with a

real American holiday. Free Parking.

 

Wednesday, July 1:  Entry Day

     ~ 1 p.m. Midway Opens:  Crescent City Amusements

          ~ 7 p..m.  Battle of the Bands - new stage

Thursday, July 2:  Daycare and Senior Citizen Day

          ~2 p.m. Ray Sands Band - new stage

Cannon Falls Wine & Art Festival

Wine and art lovers from the Upper Midwest are invited to beautiful Hannah's Bend Park

on the banks of the Cannon River to  taste exceptional Minnesota wines from 13 local wineries,

browse through talented artist booths and enjoy local talent and cuisine.

This is the same lovely park that President Obama visited in August of 2011.

 

Admission into the art festival is free.

Wine Tasting tickets cost  $20 for a souvenir wine glass and ten tasting tickets.

Wine tasting takes place from 12 Noon  - 5 p.m. both days.

Art Show hours are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. both days.

Cannon Cruisers Car Club's Annual Car Cruise

Take a Friday night cruise through the scenic countryside with the Cannon Cruisers Car Club.

Line up begins at 5 p.m. at the Cannon Falls High School west Parking Lot - just off Hwy 19

820 East Minnesota Street (NOTE NEW LINE-UP LOCATION).

 

There will be 50's & 60's music during line up time, plus concessions will be available.

Cost to participate is $5 per car OR a donation to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf.

 

Cruise leaves at 7 p.m. and be escorted through town by the Cannon Falls Police Department.

Cruise is about 25 miles through the city, Welch valley and returns to the Cannon Falls city

parking lot in downtown Cannon Falls for an evening of car viewing and 50's & 60's music till

First Thursday Fun Fest!

Street fair featuring over 30 vendor booths with a variety of merchandise including handcrafted

jewelry, local honey, unique- handmade clothing for kids and adults, books, candles, soaps,

wine, home-baked goodies, handcrafted wooden furniture, birdhouses,and more. Plus live music

bingo, clowns,face-painting, and concessions.

 

Events at the August Fun Fest Include:

5:30-6:30 p.m.     Bingo

5 - 8 p.m.            FREE Sweet Corn served fresh and hot by the Knights of Columbus!

5 - 8 p.m.            Live music performed by The Tasty Beats in the Cannon River Winery

5 - 8 p.m.            Puppet Shows  by True North Church in the Kids Korner

 

Event held from 5 8 pm on Mill Street between 4th Street and the Cannon River
