First Thursday Fun Fest: cancelled due to weather |

Street fair featuring vendor booths with a variety of merchandise including jewelry, honey, crafts, wine, home-baked goodies, and more. May's Fun Fest features a performance by the Cannon Falls High School Steel Drum Band, plus performances by the Just For Kix dancers, bingo, clowns, face-painting, and concessions. Event held from 5 – 8 pm on Mill Street between 4th Street and the Cannon River Winery in historic downtown Cannon Falls.

Wine & Food Tasting Fundraiser Hosted by the VFW Post #4452 Auxiliary |

The Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post #4452 are hosting a Wine & Food Tasting Fundraiser to raise funds for the local Veteran's Relief Fund. Admission is $10.00. Tickets are available for purchase at the VFW club. Tasting includes wine and craft beers provided by Rod's Liquors and the Cannon River Winery, food provided by: Cheese Cave, Econo Foods Deli, Ferndale Market, Greg's Meat and Hi-Quality Bakery.

Nature Valley Grand Prix |
|
|
Five-Day Staged professional bike race, which is part of the Nature Valley Bicycle Festival, draws the top pro racers from all over the country. Day two takes place in Cannon Falls. The race starts and finishes in Cannon Falls. The 90-mile race culminates with 4 finishing circuit laps around the in-town circuit that passes giving spectators the opportunity to be a part of t he action as they cheer the best riders in the world racing just inches away.
Along with opportunities to watch the world's best racers, spectators can also enjoy live music by Dave Carpenter and Friends, concessions and kid's fun races in the Expo area.
Profits from the Nature Valley Grand Prix Bicycle Festival benefit the Children's Lighthouse of Minnesota. Children's Lighthouse of Minnesota is the first hospice and respite care home in Minnesota exclusively for children.
The festival is a blast for ALL ages! The expo opens at 5 p.m. with booths and displays that include Stunt Riders and Kid's activities. The Men's race starts at 3:45 p.m. and the Women roll out at 4 p.m. At 6:00 the Shimano Kid's Fun Race begins! 2-wheels, 3-wheels, self-propelled or "Parent"-propelled; helmet clad youngsters will all be proud to get a finishing medal after they make their way around a part of the in-town circuit.
